Jonathan Beever

Jonathan Beever is Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Texts & Technology Ph.D. Program at the University of Central Florida, and founding director of the UCF Center for Ethics. He took his Ph.D. in Philosophy from Purdue University and held postdoctoral positions in biomedical engineering at Purdue and in ethics at the Rock Ethics Institute at Penn State University. He serves on the boards of the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics and the International Association for Environmental Philosophy, among others. His interdisciplinary research engages intersections of ethics, emerging technology, and environments across collaborative and single-authored work.
