Erin Huber is currently a Business Intelligence Analyst at Blue Origin with a past life spanning roles from Technical Project Manager and Systems Engineer to UX Researcher, Accountant, and even Girl Scout Camp Counselor.

Holding both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, she has navigated a career across engineering, finance, and data analytics — discovering along the way that professional success is often fueled by the courage to be a beginner outside the office and willingness to expand your horizons personally and professionally.

Whether she is solo traveling through Vietnam, getting SCUBA certified, or trekking to Machu Picchu and active volcanoes, Erin lives by the belief that our experiences outside of work define our capabilities within it. She refuses to let a 9-to-5 mindset dampen her sense of wonder and curiosity and hopes her story serves as a way to show that your career path might not end up looking like what you originally imagined — and that’s okay!
